President Trump was not about to let a Reuters reporter question his stamina five days before the midterms. When the reporter suggested he was skipping a stop in Kansas because he was sick of traveling, the President shot right back. “Oh, you’re sick to ask that question,” he said. “You are sick.”
“Who are you with?” the President asked. Told it was Reuters, he answered: “You are a sick guy. Reuters is terrible.” Then he added: “Look at this guy, he’s way out of shape.”
He explained the Kansas decision in plain terms. “I’m not going to Kansas because he’s doing very well,” President Trump said. “Tomorrow I’m doing Florida.” Pointing to his pace on the trail (“After doing, what, 28?”), he added, “I don’t feel I have to go to Kansas. I’m going to Florida tomorrow.”
When the reporter pressed on whether he was feeling well, the President had heard enough. “You’ve been following me for two weeks. I feel perfect,” he said. “You are disgusting. Put yourself in shape. You look like hell.”
The schedule speaks for itself. The President rallied in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on Thursday and heads to Florida on Friday, still running full speed for America First candidates ahead of Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
