President Trump stood firmly behind Pete Hegseth after reporters asked about Democrats’ talk of impeaching him if they win next week. “I think it’s terrible,” the President said.

“All they do is they talk about impeaching everybody,” he said. Then he added a warning: “Honestly, if we wanted to play that game, we could play it just as well.”

The President made clear that Hegseth has his full confidence. “They’re talking about Pete Hegseth. He’s doing a great job,” he said. “He’s a great warrior.”

“I think he’s the best at his job in many, many years,” President Trump said. “And a lot of people agree with that.”

It is a clear choice for voters on Nov. 3: a party that talks about impeachment, or a President and a War Secretary focused on a strong military and peace through strength.
