President Trump spoke from the heart at his rally Wednesday night and told the crowd something he said he had never said on the trail before. “I’ll tell you something,” he began. “I don’t think I’ve said this during any one of these rallies.”
Then he said it plainly. “If I didn’t win the presidency, it would be gone,” the President said of the country. “I really believe it. It couldn’t have withstood.”
He also spoke about what he has seen at his rallies this fall. “It’s been so incredible to see the spirit,” he said.
The moment landed hard with supporters online, where the White House Rapid Response clip quickly became one of the most-shared of the night.
With the midterms set for Tuesday, Nov. 3, the President’s message was clear: the comeback America is enjoying today happened because voters chose to save it, and the job is to keep it going.
