President Trump brought good news on energy to Ohio on Wednesday night. “Just yesterday I announced that we are terminating Sleepy Joe Biden’s burdensome and unnecessary methane rule targeting small oil and gas producers,” he told the crowd.

The savings are huge. The President said the move “will save consumers and energy producers $45 billion in cost,” a figure the White House also highlighted.

And it means more American energy. “We’re going to unlock vast quantities of Ohio energy and unleash 210 million barrels at a minimum because of what we’ve done,” President Trump said.

He also told Ohioans relief at the pump is on the way. “When the war ends, the price of gasoline and the price of oil is going to go” down, he said.

Ending the Biden rule is the latest step in the President’s push for American energy dominance: cheaper fuel for families, more work for small producers, and fewer Washington roadblocks.
