President Trump brought breaking news to Lubbock on Tuesday night. “I’m pleased to announce another historic action to bring down energy costs and unleash Texas energy,” he told the crowd.
“Under Crooked Joe Biden, Democrats crushed the small oil and gas operators,” Trump said. “They’re great operators, too. I know so many of them.” He said Biden’s crippling methane regulations caused prices to skyrocket.
“Tonight, I’m officially terminating Biden’s expensive and unnecessary methane regulations to save consumers and energy producers $45 billion in costs,” the President announced.
He said the move will unlock vast quantities of Texas natural gas and produce 210 million barrels of oil, more American energy from the small producers Democrats tried to regulate out of business.
Earlier Tuesday in Corpus Christi, the President welcomed one million barrels of Venezuelan oil to an American port. By nightfall in Lubbock, he was clearing the way for more Texas energy. Drill, baby, drill.
