President Trump said Friday that time is on America’s side against Iran. “We can end it very quickly, but Iran is a failing nation,” he told reporters on the South Lawn.
“We can take all the oil out that we want,” the President said. “You see that with the Hormuz Strait, our Navy. We have it blocked up for them, but nobody else. And everybody is taking oil out.”
He said the numbers prove it. “In fact, last week we took more oil out” than ever, “even before the war,” President Trump said. “So that was the big sticking point. So we have that.” He added: “We have more oil coming out of the Hormuz Strait today than they did a year ago.”
Meanwhile, the regime is going broke. “They have inflation, they have no money,” he said.
“The question is, do we want to finish it off, or do we just want to let it wither?” President Trump said. “Because we’re getting everything we want.”
