President Trump made a promise to a grieving Texas mother, and on Tuesday in Corpus Christi he told the crowd he has kept it. “I promised Alexis that I would deliver justice for Jocelyn,” the President said.
Since he took office, Trump said, his administration has rounded up, arrested and deported thousands of Tren de Aragua gang members from Texas and all across the country. “We’ve obliterated their gang hideouts and terrorist compounds and unleashed our military to eliminate their leaders,” he said.
Jocelyn Nungaray was 12 years old when she was brutally murdered by two illegal alien gang members who had been released into the country under the last administration’s open-border policies. Her mother, Alexis Nungaray, joined the President on stage at the port.
“In Jocelyn’s honor, I officially renamed one of our nation’s most beautiful wildlife preserves near Houston to the Jocelyn Nungaray National Wildlife Refuge,” Trump said.
Democrats opened the border. President Trump closed it and went after the gangs that came through it. One week before Election Day, Texans heard exactly who is keeping their children safe.
