It was the most powerful moment of the day in Corpus Christi. Alexis Nungaray, whose 12-year-old daughter Jocelyn was murdered by two illegal alien gang members, stepped up beside President Trump and thanked him “for keeping my daughter Jocelyn Nungaray’s name alive, keeping and sharing her story, and proving that her death was not just a number.”

“She was a 12-year-old girl who had her entire life ahead of her, with dreams beyond her wildest imaginations,” Nungaray said, “but it was cut devastatingly short because of the border policies we had due to the last previous administration. That administration failed Jocelyn.”

“No parent should ever have to go through the grief that I’m going through,” she said. She told the crowd she is limited in what she can say “until justice is served while my daughter’s case is still open.”

Then she made her ask. “If you haven’t voted yet, go out and vote. It’s extremely important and it really does make a difference.” She thanked “our Lord Almighty Jesus Christ for giving me the strength to stand up here.”

“Long live Jocelyn,” she said. “She’s changing the world just a little bit at a time.” Patriots will never forget her.
