President Trump gave Mississippi voters the receipts on Monday night. “Every single Democrat in Congress voted against our tax cuts,” he told the Corinth rally. “They voted against no tax on tips. Every single, not one Democrat.”
The list kept going. “They voted against no tax on overtime. They voted against no tax on Social Security,” the President said. “They voted against voter ID. They voted against proof of citizenship because they want to cheat. They voted against securing our border.”
And what did they vote for? “They voted in favor of the worst inflation and highest energy costs in American history,” Trump said. “They voted in favor of transgender mutilation of your children,” and “in favor of men playing in women’s sports.”
The President also had some fun with the crowd before landing the line on women’s sports, joking that his wife tells him his weightlifting routine is “very unpresidential.”
With eight days to go, the contrast could not be clearer: Republicans delivered the tax cuts, the secure border and the push for voter ID, and every Democrat in Congress stood against them.
