The manufacturing boom has reached northeast Mississippi. “Right here in Mississippi, Toyota is investing $125 million to expand production at its Blue Springs plant,” President Trump told the Corinth rally on Monday night.
The Blue Springs plant is in northeast Mississippi, and the news drew a big cheer from a crowd that knows what more production means for local jobs.
The President added that the wave is rolling across the South. “Two days ago, in Macon, Georgia, the chairman of Audi, big, big car company, Europe, stood up and announced that next month they start construction on a $40 billion plant that will produce 200,000 cars a year,” Trump said.
Foreign automakers are building in America because the President’s trade policies made it the place to build. From Toyota in Mississippi to Audi in Georgia, the cars of the future are being made by American workers.
