President Trump closed the campaign on Monday night with one of his biggest wins for American families. “We did something called favored nations and drugs,” he told Sean Hannity. “We had the highest drug prices in the world. And now we have the lowest drug prices in the world.”

He said it will reach every family. “It’s going to have a huge impact on health care and everything else. It’s drugs. It’s a big percentage,” the President said.

Other countries had to pay their fair share. “I had to get all these countries, frankly, by the threat of tariffs and other things, because they wouldn’t do it,” Trump said. “They had to double and triple their drug prices in order for us to do this.”

“We’ve had a great two years. I don’t think anyone’s ever had two years like this,” he said. “We’ve created $25 trillion worth of wealth for our country. Think of it. It’s unheard of.” He said the media won’t report it: “They’ll take something that’s good and make it bad.”

The White House put it simply: “No President has lowered drug prices like President Trump, and the American people are reaping the benefits.”
