President Trump told a packed arena in Sioux City, Iowa, Thursday night that the days of Americans paying the most in the world for their medicine are over.

“I got most favored nation agreements to reduce the cost of many prescription drugs from the highest drug prices anywhere in the world to the lowest drug prices anywhere in the world,” the President said. “We now have the lowest drug prices. And we’ll be reducing the drug prices by 50 to 90 percent.”

He compared it with his first term. “My first term, I got one eighth of one percent. First time in 28 years that they went down,” he said. “I thought it was great. I had a news conference. But now it’s down 50 to 90. Think of it.”

“We had the highest drug prices in the world and we now have the lowest drug prices,” President Trump said. “And nobody else could have done that.”

The President also ran through other promises he has kept. “We abolished all discriminatory diversity, equity and inclusion policies throughout the federal government,” he said. “We got critical race theory and transgender insanity the hell out of our schools and military. And we made English the official language of the United States of America.” The Iowa crowd roared. “They love that,” he said.
