For years, Americans paid more for prescription drugs than anyone else on earth. At his Perry, Georgia rally, President Trump reminded the crowd that he ended that.

The President pointed to his Most Favored Nation agreements with drugmakers, which tie what Americans pay to the lowest prices paid in other wealthy countries.

The result, Trump said, was a turnaround “from the highest drug price anywhere in the world to the lowest drug price anywhere in the world, with reductions of from 50 to 90 percent.”

No president before him took on the drug companies and won. President Trump did, and American families are feeling it at the pharmacy counter.
