WASHINGTON — Democrats talked. President Trump delivered. In an interview clip posted Friday night by the Office of the Vice President, JD Vance said TrumpRx belongs near the very top of the Trump record — and that he brings it up everywhere he goes.

“TrumpRx — in every single speech that I give, because you’re right, it is one of the most significant achievements,” the Vice President said. “And it’s something to remind people that as much as the Democrats talk about how they care about drug affordability and pharmaceutical prices, Donald Trump actually did something about it.”

The secret, Vance said, was simple: presidential willpower. “What he did — I saw it personally — he brought the executives of the pharmaceutical companies and said, wait a second, you guys are charging European consumers 20 percent of what you’re charging an American consumer. We should not be subsidizing the pharmaceutical prices for the rest of the world, and if you don’t bring down those prices, we’re going to penalize you.”

And the drug makers got the message. “Predictably, all the pharmaceutical companies said, you know what, you’re right, that is fundamentally unfair,” Vance said. “The Europeans are going to pay a little bit more. Americans are going to pay much less. A major accomplishment.”

It is America First in its purest form — American families no longer footing the bill for the rest of the world. Rapid Response 47 amplified the Vice President’s clip Friday night as Patriots head into the final stretch before the November 3 midterms. Watch the Vice President in the video above.
