WASHINGTON — Promises made, promises kept — and Vice President JD Vance is making sure every voter knows it. In an interview on The Sean Spicer Show, shared Friday, October 16, by Rapid Response 47 and the White House, the Vice President ran down the Trump-Vance record in a few unforgettable lines.
“We didn’t just talk about closing the border — we actually did it,” Vance said. “We didn’t just talk about getting opioid overdose deaths down — we actually did it. We didn’t just talk about bringing trillions of dollars of new investment into the country — we actually did it.”
The proof is everywhere. Vance said that at a recent town hall in Michigan, the border did not come up at all — a stunning change from two years ago, when it was the number one or number two concern for most voters. He said American voters are impatient in a good way: “Like Donald Trump, their foot is constantly on the gas.”
In the fuller answer Rapid Response 47 urged the media to play, Vance said inflation is lower, house prices are lower and rents are more affordable than three years ago — and that President Trump has done more in 18 months than any other president has done in 10 years to reverse a 40-year bipartisan consensus of shipping American jobs overseas. “There’s still a lot more work to do,” he said, “which is why I say to the American people, don’t elect the people who caused these problems — elect the Republicans who are working on these problems and solving them every day.”
With the November 3 midterms around the corner, the message is simple: the Trump team delivers. Watch the Vice President in the video above.
