BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. — President Donald J. Trump gave Arizona the receipts Wednesday. “I signed the Great Big Beautiful Bill delivering the largest tax cuts in American history,” he told the airport rally crowd. “And I did that also in my first term.”
Then he named them. “We gave you no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on social security for our great seniors,” the President said, as No Tax on Overtime and Lower Prices signs went up across the stands. “We made interest on car loans tax deductible, first time you’ve ever had anything like that. But only if the car is made in America.” Not Japan, not Germany, not South Korea, he said: the United States, “where we’re building many, many car plants right now” at levels never seen before.
He saved the biggest number for prescription drugs. Under his Most Favored Nation agreements, “drug prices went from the highest anywhere in the world to the lowest,” Trump said. Americans had been paying “sometimes 10 and 12 times higher than other countries.” Now, he said, “we went from the highest price in the world to the lowest price in the world with price differences of 300, 400, 500, 600, and even in some cases 700 percent.”
Arizona families are feeling it. The White House says about 1.3 million Arizona seniors benefit from the new senior deduction, average refunds in the state reached $3,659 in 2026, and the Working Families Tax Cuts safeguarded 119,000 Arizona jobs. Three weeks out, the choice is clear: keep the tax cuts and the lower prices coming. Watch Rapid Response 47’s video.
