BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. — Three weeks before Election Day, President Donald J. Trump stood at the Presidential Seal podium in the Arizona sun and made the midterm choice plain: remember what happened the last time the other side had the keys.
“The last time the radical Democrats had power, they gave us the worst inflation in American history, the highest energy prices in American history, the worst trade deficit in American history,” the President said, “and they allowed 25 million people to pour in illegally into our borders, from the southern border.” They came from all over the world, he said, “turning Arizona into a dumping ground for illegal aliens.”
Arizona felt that more than almost anyone. Now the scoreboard has flipped. The White House says the Administration has not released a single illegal alien into the country at the border for 16 consecutive months, August apprehensions were 94% below the Biden monthly average, and the Working Families Tax Cuts put $46.5 billion toward finishing the wall. Families are keeping more of their paychecks, with No Tax on Social Security relief reaching about 1.3 million Arizona seniors.
