BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. — President Donald J. Trump gave Arizona a straight account of what border enforcement looks like when Washington actually does its job, and who is standing in the way.

“We recently removed an illegal alien murderer who shot a 19-year-old in the chest and then put a bullet in the back of his head before dumping his body into the desert,” the President said. “We arrested a 71-year-old child predator from Mexico who molested a child, and another illegal alien carrying over 50,000 fentanyl pills.” Those pills can be split, he warned, so one pill can kill two people.

Then he named the problem. “Yet as we’re getting these monsters out of Arizona, Katie Hobbs vetoed legislation to require local jurisdictions to cooperate with federal law enforcement.” Rapid Response 47 put it bluntly: every day, the Administration is finding vicious illegal alien killers, gangbangers, rapists, and drug traffickers, and Arizona’s governor chose to make that harder.

The results show what cooperation could do. The White House says CBP seized 73% more drugs this fiscal year through August than in the same stretch of FY 2024, and violent crime fell 13% statewide last year, with homicides down 22% in Phoenix and 24% in Tucson in the first half of this year. With a governor’s race on the ballot, Patriots know the choice. Watch Rapid Response 47’s video.
