YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The scoreboard does not lie. Standing at the presidential seal with a “NO TAX ON OVERTIME” sign in the frame, President Donald J. Trump told Covelli Centre Patriots exactly how every Democrat in Congress voted when the Golden Age tax cuts hit the floor. “Every single Democrat in Congress voted AGAINST our record tax cuts,” he said. “They voted AGAINST No Tax on Tips. They voted AGAINST No Tax on Overtime, and they voted AGAINST No Tax on Social Security for our great seniors.”
Then he named the election-integrity fight. “They voted AGAINST voter ID and they voted AGAINST proof of citizenship when you vote. So why did they do that? Because they want to cheat.” They voted against securing the border, too — and the President warned that if they retake power they will reopen it, chase amnesty, and try to pad the Senate and Supreme Court until Patriots never win again.
Contrast that with what Republicans already delivered: the largest tax cuts in American history, No Tax on Tips, Overtime and Social Security, interest on car loans tax-deductible when the car is made in America, and most-favored-nation drug pricing that is taking America from the highest prices in the world toward the lowest. Hold the House and Senate on November 3 and those wins get locked in — including the President’s push to make the Trump tax cuts permanent.
