BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. — The undefeated champ showed up for the President. Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather joined President Donald J. Trump on stage at Wednesday’s airport rally in Bullhead City, stepped up to the Presidential Seal podium, and gave the Arizona crowd a message straight from the heart.

“First, I want to say thank you to everyone that showed up,” Mayweather said. “America is the best country in the world. If I died and came back a million times, I will always choose America.” The crowd, a sea of red hats and American flags, roared its approval while the President stood beside him.

Mayweather remembered what it meant to wear the colors. “It was great to represent this country in the 1996 Olympic Games, to go out there and represent the red, white, and blue,” he said. Then he made his pick plain: “And we couldn’t have chosen a better president twice than Donald Trump.”

He closed with the spirit of the whole midterm tour. “It’s all about keeping this country strong, and it’s all about us sticking together and believing one another,” Mayweather said. “America is the best country in the world. Thank you.” Three weeks from Election Day, champions are lining up behind the Golden Age. Watch Rapid Response 47’s video.
