President Trump told Miranda Devine on Pod Force One that the border wall is finished business. “Well, it’s built,” he said. “We built 2,000 miles of wall.”
The numbers have come out every month, the President said, and they keep showing the same thing. “In the last 18 months, zero people,” Trump said. “It’s hard to believe, actually. It’s zero.” That is zero people coming into the country illegally.
“Without the wall, you could never do that,” he said. “I built it. We have 2,000 miles of wall. Very strong wall.”
He gave the credit to the men and women on the line. “More importantly, we have very strong people at the wall,” the President said. “We have between Border Patrol and ICE, we have amazing people.”
Under the last administration the border was wide open. Under President Trump it is closed, and keeping it that way is on the ballot Tuesday, Nov. 3.
