Two days before Election Day, President Trump gave Iowa the scoreboard. “Less than two years ago, the radical left Democrats handed us the dark age of America,” he said at his Dubuque rally Sunday, “but we quickly turned it into the golden age.”
Start with the border. America now has the most secure border in its history, the President said, and the number proves it: “In the past 17 months, zero illegal aliens have been admitted into the United States of America.”
Compare that to what came before. “They let in 20 million people,” Trump said of the last administration. Those were the years of open gates, cartel profits, and towns overwhelmed with no say in the matter.
“And despite that, we’ve just achieved the largest drop in violent crime ever recorded in the history of America,” the President said. Secure the border, back the police, and the results follow.
