WASHINGTON — Standing before America’s first responders in the White House Rose Garden on Thursday, President Donald J. Trump delivered the law-and-order scoreboard of the Golden Age. “Together in less than two years, we’ve achieved the largest drop in violent crime ever recorded,” the President said.

The numbers kept coming. “The murder rate plummeted to the lowest level in 125 years, since the year 1900,” Trump said. “Drug overdose deaths have fallen every single month that I’ve been in office. And police officers’ deaths in the line of duty have reached an 80-year low.” His verdict for the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and EMTs in the garden: “That’s so good.”

Then the President made a promise to every officer in the audience — twice. “We’re bringing the death penalty back for anybody that kills a police officer, by the way, or anybody in law enforcement,” he said. “We’re bringing the death penalty back for anybody that kills a police officer.”

It is the record Patriots voted for: secure borders, criminals off the streets, and a President who stands behind the badge. The same day, the Justice Department announced Operation Show Me Justice took 435 offenders off the streets of St. Louis. Three weeks from Election Day, the choice could not be clearer — keep America safe and keep the America First team in charge. Watch Rapid Response 47’s video.
