President Trump closed his Sunday night rally in Dubuque, Iowa, with the kind of plain talk Washington politicians avoid. Minnesota has paid the price for open-door migration from Somalia, he said, and now the same thing is heading for Ohio.

“Somalia has ruined the state of Minnesota. They’ve ruined it,” the President told the crowd. “I don’t want to be controversial, but they’re trying to do it to one of my favorite places in the world, Ohio.”

“There’s tremendous groups of Somalians going into Ohio and they’re trying to play with the elections and they’re starting to form their communities,” Trump said. “We don’t want them. There’s hundreds of thousands of them and they vote exactly the way they’re told to vote.”

He did not sugarcoat where they come from. “They come from a country that’s a disaster. It’s a dead country. It’s got no government, it’s got no military, it’s got no police,” the President said. “All it’s got is murder, carnage, and filth. And we don’t want them in this country.”

Minnesota has become ground zero for fraud cases, and the President has made clear he will not let that spread across the heartland. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. The choice is protecting American communities or handing them over.
