A reporter in Palm Beach told President Trump on Saturday that polls show government corruption has shot to the top of voter concerns this election, and asked him why.

The President’s answer took one sentence. “Well, because the Democrats are very corrupt,” he said. “To me, corruption is one of the biggest things. If you look at Minnesota, if you look at Los Angeles, if you look at New York, the corruption is rampant. And to me, corruption is a very big factor.”

When the reporter cited a Wall Street Journal survey, Trump turned the question back on the press. “The Wall Street Journal has lost its way,” he said. “There’s massive corruption that you don’t cover on the Democrat side. And you should.”

“You ought to look at Minnesota, you ought to look at Maine, you ought to look at Los Angeles,” the President said, “because we are straight and we are solid. But you ought to look at the real corruption. It’s Democrat corruption.”

Ten days out from Election Day, voters are hearing a clear message: the President is rooting out fraud and waste, and the Democrats are defending it.
