The White House has a message for every American who has seen taxpayer money disappear: report it, and share in the reward.
In a new video, “The Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program is Here,” the White House says independent journalists and all Americans “will now be able to go to the fraud.gov and report cases of corruption and theft of taxpayer dollars in their communities.”
“To Americans across the country, your tax dollars are being stolen,” the video says. “The President has said it must stop. It is stopping. And if you want to help us stop it, you get to share the rewards now, thanks to what the President of the United States has done.”
An independent journalist in the video says there was never an incentive to expose fraud before. “When I exposed fraud, instead of the mainstream media investigating the fraud, they investigated me,” he says. “But now, finally, people have an incentive to actually go out and expose fraud. And when you expose fraud, you help save America.”
Under President Trump, the message to fraudsters is simple: the American people are watching, and now they have a reason to speak up. Reports go to fraud.gov.
