Vice President JD Vance brought a clear America First message to North Carolina on Wednesday. “If you’re here to play by the rules, I want you to have good and dignified jobs,” he said.
He promised that taxpayer money will be respected. “I want you to know that when the government reaches its hand into your pocket, it’s going to pay for the things that it should,” Vance said. “It’s not going to give the money to fraudsters.”
Vance also stood with law enforcement. “I want your police officers to know that we’re going to empower them to put bad guys behind bars,” he said.
And he sent a warning to corporate America. “If you’re willing to work with us and invest in American workers, we are going to be your biggest champion,” the Vice President said. “But if you want to ship American jobs overseas, then we are going to fight you tooth and nail, because American jobs ought to go to American workers.”
It is the same agenda President Trump is taking to voters across the country before the Nov. 3 midterms: safe streets, honest spending and jobs for Americans first.
