Russia wants to invest in Alaska natural gas. President Trump says peace comes first. Asked about it by reporters in Palm Beach on Saturday, the President laid out the order of things.
“We’d like to get back to life where Russia and Ukraine make a deal, and then we’d be able to do business with both,” he said.
Trump pointed to the deal he already struck. “I made a deal with Ukraine to get up to a trillion dollars worth of their natural minerals,” he said. “And the reason: because Biden gave them $350 billion worth of equipment.” All Biden had to do, Trump said, was ask — “meaning the European Union would have paid.”
“Certainly we’ll do business with Ukraine, and with Russia after this war ends, I would think,” the President said.
It is the America First approach in a sentence: end the war, protect the American taxpayer, and then put American business to work.
