President Trump is taking his record of results back to the heartland. “The president’s travel isn’t slowing down anytime soon,” White House Press Secretary Taylor Rogers said Wednesday. “He’ll be going to Ohio today.”
Rogers said Ohio knows the difference. “This is a state that showed up big for President Trump in 2024 because they suffered under Biden and the Democrats’ policies,” she said. “These were America Last policies that shipped their jobs overseas, that shut down manufacturing plants and that put American workers last.”
“President Trump has totally reversed those disastrous policies,” Rogers said. “He has reshored our manufacturing industry. He has brought jobs back to the country, to the state of Ohio.”
The proof is on the ground. Bayer announced a $2.2 billion investment in Ohio that will create 400 permanent jobs, and Stellantis is investing $400 million into the state, creating 900 jobs. “This is what Ohioans want to see,” Rogers said. “They want politicians who put American workers first. That is exactly what President Trump has done for the state of Ohio.”
With the midterms days away, Rogers warned what is at stake: “We cannot risk allowing the Democrats to stop the president from delivering on this progress and reestablishing their America Last agenda.”
