President Trump is going after the biggest threat of all. “I think it’s scheduled already with President Xi of China,” he told reporters at Joint Base Andrews. “And we have a meeting on nuclear disarmament, which is a very great meeting. As far as I’m concerned, maybe the single most important meeting.”
The President laid out the stakes. “We have the most nuclear weapons. Russia’s second, pretty close behind,” he said. “And China’s much further behind, but they’ll catch us within five years. And it all doesn’t make sense.”
He said Russia fits into the talks as well. “When you look at 17, 1800 of these unbelievably deadly missiles, it’s very dangerous stuff,” Trump said. “Very, very dangerous stuff. If something could be done in that regard, it would be great.”
The President also praised the team carrying out his agenda. “Marco Rubio got a big hand,” he said of the Lubbock rally. “They like my people. We have a great group of people, very talented. It’s a tremendous cabinet, I think. Maybe the best ever.”
Peace through strength built the strongest arsenal on earth. Now President Trump is using that strength to make the whole world safer.
