President Trump says peace between Russia and Ukraine is moving closer. “We’re making a lot of progress with Russia-Ukraine,” he told reporters at Joint Base Andrews after returning from his rally in Lubbock, Texas.
“There’ll be a meeting set up very soon,” the President said. “I think a lot of progress is being made.”
The President has said for years that this war never should have started. He has pushed both sides toward a deal and has said America can do business with both once the fighting ends.
The same night, he told reporters he is “in a very good position” with Iran. Strength abroad is bringing adversaries to the table.
