President Trump brought good news for the Texas Hill Country on Tuesday. “At the request of Ken Paxton and Senator Ted Cruz, I’m pleased to announce that I will be making available more FEMA relief funds” for the Hill Country floods, the President said in Corpus Christi.
“So we’ll work that out on Monday,” Trump said.
The deadly Hill Country floods devastated families and communities across the region, and Texans have been rebuilding ever since.
The announcement came alongside two of Texas’ strongest America First fighters. Paxton and Cruz asked, and President Trump delivered. That is what standing with Texas looks like.
