In the heart of Georgia farm country on Saturday night, President Trump reminded the crowd who has always stood with America’s farmers.

“I also gave our great farmers $12 billion to compensate them for unfair trade practices from other countries, including $212 million that’s going to farmers in Georgia,” the President said at his rally in Perry.

Trump pointed back to his first term, when he made China pay. “And if you remember, in my first term, I got $28 billion for you from China because they took advantage of our farmers, and I love our farmers,” he said.

“We got 99% of the vote with our farmers, and we love our farmers,” Trump added, to big cheers.

For the families who feed America, the message from Perry was simple: this President has their backs, and he is putting real money where his mouth is.
