President Trump is not buying that the problem in California stops at 20,000. On the South Lawn Friday morning, a reporter told him that 20,000 noncitizens were on the voter rolls in California.

“I’m not surprised,” the President said. “It could be hundreds of thousands. That was just a batch. Twenty thousand.”

“Absolutely fraudulent in California for voting,” he said. “And it could be a hundred thousand. It could be three, four, five hundred thousand.”

He said the Golden State is not alone. “California is very corrupt for voting,” President Trump said. “So is Minnesota. So are many other states.”

Noncitizens are not allowed to vote in federal elections, and the President has made clean voter rolls a top priority heading into the Nov. 3 midterms.
