House Speaker Cameron Sexton crossed the finish line of his American Dream Tour with one message for Tennessee: “Let’s keep Tennessee moving forward. Vote RED down the ticket this Tuesday!” His finale video shows the tour bus rolling through West Tennessee stops in Shelby, Fayette, Hardeman and Henderson counties.
“We traveled across Tennessee, met with folks from every corner of our state and heard what the American Dream means to them,” Sexton said. “While blue states burden families with high taxes, mounting debt and rising costs, Tennessee continues to keep taxes low and freedom high.” He tagged Rep. David Kustoff, Sen. Bill Hagerty and the Tennessee Republican Party in his thank-you to everyone who joined.
Tennesseans are answering the call. Final numbers from the Secretary of State’s Division of Elections show 1,280,642 ballots cast during the 14-day early voting period, 45.15% more than at the same point in 2022, with the 2026 total ahead of 2022 in 94 counties. The final day alone, Thursday, drew 150,355 voters.
Secretary of State Tre Hargett has said early voting usually makes up 50% to 60% of the total vote, so Tuesday still decides it. He urged voters to look over their sample ballots before they go, especially the three constitutional amendments, which are “kind of lengthy.”
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Bring a valid photo ID. Polling places and sample ballots are at GoVoteTN.gov.
