ICE took another accused child predator off the streets of a sanctuary city. ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Los Angeles arrested Nestor Javier Banda Casa, 37, a fugitive illegal alien from Ecuador accused of having sex with a minor, in California on Oct. 13.
In a video released Monday, an ICE officer explained who the fugitive unit was after: a man wanted in Ecuador for the rape of a 12-year-old child. “He actually came to the United States back in 2024 during the last administration,” the officer said. “Border Patrol actually arrested him,” but “due to the last administration policies he was released.”
“He was arrested and then immediately released and he’s been hiding out here in Los Angeles ever since,” the officer said. ICE says he hid in sanctuary Los Angeles for nearly three years after an order was issued to locate and arrest him in January 2024.
Now he is gone. ICE handed him to Ecuadoran officials to face justice, “to go back to Ecuador and face charges for raping this 12 year old little girl.”
Catch and release let him in. Sanctuary policy let him hide. President Trump’s ICE found him and sent him home to answer for it.
