President Trump brought Iowa farmers a dollar figure on Sunday. In Dubuque, he told the crowd what his harvest diesel relief means for their state: an estimated $400 million for Iowa farmers.
“I signed an order waiving the off-road requirement for red-dye diesel,” the President said, “allowing farmers, truckers, and anyone else to fill up with red-dye diesel, totally tax-free. No tax on it.”
On top of that, Trump announced the Harvest Fuel Relief Program, providing America’s farmers with $8 billion to offset diesel costs this harvest season, “including an estimated $400 million for Iowa farmers.”
He said relief at the pump is on the way, too, with prices set to come down soon. For families running combines and grain trucks around the clock this fall, every gallon counts.
Iowa feeds the country, and this President has its back. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
