President Trump is running through the finish line. Asked about the midterms on Saturday night, he laid out a closing schedule that would wear out a candidate half his age.
“I did many tele-town halls today,” the President said. “I leave early tomorrow for Iowa, I leave early tomorrow for Kansas — then on Monday, we’re doing a lot of different events.”
His read on where things stand three days out was short and confident. “I feel very good,” he said.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. The President has spent the final stretch on the road and on the phone with voters, making the case for the tax cuts, the secure border and voter ID that Republicans delivered and Democrats voted against.
If you have not voted yet, the plan is simple: show up Tuesday and bring a friend. The President is doing his part.
