Iran spent two months building new air defenses. President Trump’s military took them out the night they were done. Speaking Tuesday morning about Monday night’s limited strikes on Qeshm Island, the President said: “They have no anti-aircraft. We took some out last night, just a minor attack. It wasn’t a war.”
“They built an anti-aircraft facility. It took them about two months. We watched it get built,” Trump said. “As soon as it was completed, we hit it last night very nicely. It was not a big war.”
In an interview Monday night, the President explained why Iran is losing. “They’re in not a good negotiating position. Their economy is cratering because of us,” he said. “They have 301% inflation. They don’t have money, they’re not paying their soldiers, they’re not paying their police.”
“We did have a big hit on them and we hit them very hard, and that took out their Navy,” Trump said. Iran wants “to make a deal very badly,” but “here’s the thing, we’re dealing from total strength. We can end it at any time. If I can make a deal, I’d rather do it, save a lot of lives.”
America sees everything, and America acts. That is peace through strength.
