President Trump made his picks clear Thursday as he left the White House for Iowa. Asked by reporters about the money and time going into Texas, the President went straight to Ken Paxton.

“I think that we have the greatest attorney general running in the history of Texas,” President Trump said. “What Texas has is the greatest attorney general in their history and one of the greatest attorney generals in the country. And that’s what you want for your senator.”

He also had a message for Mississippi. Asked about the Senate race there, the President backed Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith. “Cindy Hyde-Smith has been very popular,” he said. “I won Mississippi, as I did just about everything else, in a landslide. So if I need to get her over the top, I would go there.”

“She’s great. Cindy Hyde-Smith is great,” the President said. “I’m pretty well booked up, as you see, but if I need to go, I’d go.”

With Election Day on Nov. 3, President Trump is all in on holding the Senate, from Texas to Mississippi.
