At his final midterm rally in Salina, Kansas, President Trump showed the crowd what the economic comeback looks like in their own backyard.
“The pharmaceutical company Merck is investing nearly $1 billion in De Soto to expand production and create thousands of new jobs,” the President said.
“Bombardier is investing $270 million to create jobs in Indiana, Texas, and Kansas,” Trump said. Then he got to the big one for Wichita: “Boeing is investing $1 billion in Wichita. Boeing.”
It is happening nationwide. “The big auto company Audi just announced a $40 billion plant in Macon, Georgia that will produce 200,000 cars a year,” the President said.
Factories, jobs and paychecks are coming back to the heartland. That record is on the ballot Tuesday, Nov. 3.
