Florida gave President Trump a send-off to remember. As his Fort Myers event wrapped on Friday, the President stepped out from behind the podium and broke into his famous dance while the packed crowd roared, waved American flags and held up their phones to capture the moment.
The White House Rapid Response team posted the video with a simple message: “TRUMP DANCE IN THE SUNSHINE STATE — THANK YOU, FLORIDA!” Behind the President, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN banners lined the stage as the stands rose to their feet.
Then Trump came down to the floor and worked the rope line, shaking hands with supporters who had waited for hours. He had said that morning that Fort Myers supporters were already lined up the day before.
It capped a big day for Florida: the launch of the America First Seafood Strategy and $250 million to hire 5,000 new nurses for seniors. Ten days from the midterms, the energy in the Sunshine State is unmistakable.
