President Trump lived through four years of lawfare, and he is not going to let it happen to the people who work for him. Asked about a report that White House lawyers are weighing pardons for junior staff, he did not back down.

“Well, I have a thought of it, but I will tell you, it would be very unfair to go through what we went through for four years with the corrupt weaponization that took place,” the President said.

He reminded reporters who set the standard. “In light of what Biden did, as you know, Biden shielded many people, including the Congress,” Trump said. “If you look at what they did with Congress, where they set up the special committee, which was a fraud, they all got shielded.”

“Certainly I’d be allowed to,” he said. “The presidential pardons are, they say, the most powerful thing a president has. I certainly don’t want to see innocent people go through hell and lose all their money.”

President Trump is making sure loyal, honest public servants are never targeted the way he was.
