East Tennessee Republicans are lining up behind Marsha Blackburn for governor, and they are urging their neighbors to get to the polls.

“I’m the president of the Washington County Federation of the Republican Women’s Club, and I’m voting for Marsha Blackburn,” Brenda said in a new video from Team Marsha. “I’m voting for Marsha because we know how she governs. We know that she will make the best choices for Tennessee. So please join me in voting for Marsha.”

Blackburn has been crisscrossing the state. After a stop in Morristown, she posted, “Great turnout in Morristown! Thank you, @GlennJacobsTN, for joining us and supporting us! #GoVoteTN.” Jacobs, the former Knox County mayor, is a key Blackburn ally.

Turnout is running hot. More than 760,000 Tennesseans had voted early or absentee through Friday, according to the Secretary of State’s daily count, well ahead of the 2022 governor’s race.

Early voting resumes Monday and runs through Thursday, Oct. 29. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Find your early voting site through your county election commission and vote Republican up and down the ticket.
