Tennessee Republicans are pushing hard to bank votes before early voting closes. On Saturday, state Sen. Ferrell Haile recorded a message for Team Marsha asking Tennesseans to get to the polls now.
“Early voting has already started, and as a Republican I want to encourage you to vote for Marsha Blackburn,” Haile said. “She’s going to be our next governor. We need her as our next governor, and I would encourage you to vote Republican.”
Blackburn herself spent the day in West Tennessee. She stopped by the Scarlet Rope Project Wingfest in Jackson, saying she is “traveling across the state, meeting Tennesseans where they are,” and then capped the day at the West Tennessee State Fair in Chester County.
The push comes as Tennessee early voting runs well ahead of past midterms, with more than 760,000 votes cast through Friday.
Early voting ends Thursday, Oct. 29, and Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Find your early voting location through your county election commission and vote Republican up and down the ticket.
