WASHINGTON — Friday’s White House playlist is prosperity. The official White House YouTube channel posted “Lo-Fi Beats & Billions in Investments to Build America’s Golden Age,” amplifying the morning message from the White House X account: sit back, relax, and enjoy the sound of trillions pouring into America.
The Council of Economic Advisers’ October 2026 State of American Manufacturing report puts hard numbers under the beat. President Trump has delivered over $11 trillion in investment in the United States — compared with just over $1 trillion across four years of the prior administration. Manufacturing entered its ninth straight month of expansion in September, with manufacturing jobs up 72,000 so far in 2026 and durable-goods employment leading the charge.
Factory construction is soaring: non-residential specialty-trade construction jobs are up more than 111,000 since President Trump took office, and overall construction employment is up 100,000. Blue-collar manufacturing workers are earning nearly $2,500 more per year on average since January 2025 after inflation. U.S. goods exports hit an all-time monthly record of $220 billion in April 2026.
From Micron’s chip plants to Apple’s $600 billion U.S. commitment, Stellantis’s historic auto investment, and pharmaceutical expansions by GSK and Gilead, the world’s biggest companies are getting the Golden Age memo: America is the place to build again. Watch the White House video — and turn it up.
