One day before Americans go to the polls, President Trump’s Justice Department delivered a warning to anyone who thinks they can cheat. DOJ announced charges involving 63 individuals, including four illegal aliens, for illegal voting, fraudulent voter registration and related election crimes across the country.

“Today’s announcement marks the largest surge of voter-fraud arrests since President Trump returned to office,” said Attorney General Todd Blanche. “These foreign nationals allegedly took advantage of the trust of the American people and flouted the laws that govern our nation’s elections.”

The cases include aliens voting in federal elections, false claims of U.S. citizenship to register or vote, and a fraudulent registration in another state. In North Carolina, one Kenyan national allegedly voted in nine general elections going back to 2008. A Bermudan national allegedly voted in 12 general elections going back to 2000.

The numbers keep climbing. In the last nine weeks alone, the Department has charged 195 aliens across 25 states with illegal voting and registration offenses. Since the start of this Administration, 239 people have been charged with voting fraud-related offenses. Seven of Monday’s cases are in Tennessee, across the Middle, Western and Eastern Districts.

“This Department of Justice will continue investigating and prosecuting voter fraud to restore confidence in our electoral system,” Blanche said. Only citizens vote. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
