WASHINGTON — Three weeks from Election Day, President Donald J. Trump called out the oldest dirty trick in the fake-news playbook: polls engineered to keep Patriots home. “They’re rigged polls,” the President said in a Thursday White House interview posted by Rapid Response 47.
He explained the two-sided scam. “They do them both ways. In some cases they have me losing. In some cases they have me leading by so much that people aren’t going to vote.” In one case, he said, ABC — “probably the worst of the networks” — and the Washington Post “had me losing by 17.” The purpose, he recalled being told, is suppression: “If they said you’re going to lose by three or four points, people will vote. If they say you’re going to lose by 17, nobody goes out to vote. So they’re going to discourage people from voting. They’re doing it deliberately.”
Trump said the same networks never look back after they are proven wrong. “No one ever does an audit. They couldn’t care less.” He reminded voters of the last scoreboard: “I won by a lot. I won in a landslide. Don’t forget, I won all seven swing states.” Honest pollsters like John McLaughlin, he said, “were saying you’re going to win by a lot.”
That is the midterm message for every Patriot in Tennessee and across America: do not let a fake poll tell you to stay home. Crowds of 55,000 versus a few hundred do not lie — and neither does a President who already beat the rigged numbers once. Watch Rapid Response 47’s video.
