HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — President Trump brought the Golden Age to the Bluegrass State on Saturday. Rallying Patriots at Truist Arena on the campus of Northern Kentucky University, the President said tariffs and strong leadership are bringing billions of dollars in new plants and factories, and thousands of good jobs, to Kentucky.

“And just so you know, there’s no tariffs to pay if they come in and build a plant in Kentucky or any one of our states,” Trump said. He told the crowd that billions of dollars of plants and factories are under construction right now. “Nobody’s ever seen anything like it.”

Exhibit A is Ford. “Tariffs and the right leader,” the President said: Ford is putting $2 billion into its Louisville Assembly Plant. “The Louisville Assembly plant is creating more than 4,000 Kentucky jobs,” Trump said. The state of Kentucky called the Ford retooling the third-largest economic development project in its history. The plant will build an all-new midsize pickup starting in 2027.

“And just last month, GE Appliances announced a new $1 billion investment to expand its manufacturing in Kentucky,” Trump said. The Sept. 2 announcement makes Louisville’s Appliance Park the largest home appliance manufacturing site in the United States. More than $400 million of it will turn one building into a high-output dryer plant, bringing that production from Mexico to Kentucky. That is reshoring, America First style.

The President took the stage at about 2:18 p.m. Eastern to boost Rep. Andy Barr for the U.S. Senate and Ed Gallrein for Kentucky’s 4th District. “I won 118 out of 120 counties, that’s not bad,” he told the crowd, according to the White House travel pool. The message for Nov. 3 was simple: keep the factories coming. Watch the President in the video above.
