HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — President Trump’s midterm blitz rolled into Northern Kentucky on Saturday, and he had a clear warning for voters about what happens if Democrats get power back.

“The radical Democrats had power. They gave us the worst inflation in American history. The highest energy prices in American history. The worst trade deficit in American history,” the President said. “They allowed 25 million people to pour across our borders from all over the world. … It was an invasion.”

“They will do it again. They’re going to open your borders,” Trump said. “But the proud people of Kentucky will never let that happen.” He made the stakes plain: “On election night, Kentucky is going to prove that America does not belong to those who hate it — America belongs to those who really, really love it.”

The President was there for two America First candidates who joined him on stage. Rep. Andy Barr is the Republican nominee for retiring Sen. Mitch McConnell’s open seat, facing Democrat Charles Booker. Ed Gallrein, a former Navy SEAL, won the 4th District Republican primary in May over Rep. Thomas Massie and now faces Democrat Melissa Strange. Before the President spoke, Gallrein told the crowd that Saturday marked one year to the day since Trump encouraged him to run. He called Election Day a “no-fail mission.”

Kentucky’s early voting begins Oct. 29, and Election Day is Nov. 3. Watch the President in the video above.
